Mark your calendars now!! Readers, this is a night you won’t want to miss! Please join us for “Family Reading Night” here at Swartz Elementary School on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.. What better way to help us reach our goal of reading 10,000 books! (We have less than 3,000 books to go!) Don’t forget to bring along your pillow and blankets to camp out in the gym and experience a reading adventure. Bring along some of your own books or staff members from the Library will be eager to help you with any of your reading needs.
The doors will open at 6:15 p.m. so you can pick up your special reading card and then settle into your reading spots. At 6:30 p.m. our guest readers will delight you with one of their favorite books, followed by quiet family reading time and then finishing off the evening with milk and cookies and a visit with other Swartz families. |
